Sarasate

At the moment we are researching the composer Pablo de Sarasate. This Spanish violin-virtuoso and composer (1844-1908) wrote only for the violin (with piano/orchestra accompaniment). Unfortunately, very few is known about this composer (especially for the main public). Few studies have been done about him and the music that he wrote, though it is played rather often on stage.

During the summer of 2018 we have made a lot of progress for our documentary while we visited Spain for 4 weeks. At the moment we are in the process of recording the compositions and in April-May we went back for the second time to shoot the remaining footage.

From the beginning of our second Spanish trip, we started a Blog that will keep you up to date for the next coming months which contains the documentary shooting, audio-video recording of the pieces and the editing.
